Book Review of 2100 Asanas

Review for 2100 Asanas yoga book

When I was looking for adding more poses to my yoga practice I started to seek out inspirational poses on social media. I came across Daniel Lacerda's page aka Mr. Yoga on instagram and was in awe. The postures were so beautiful and unique.

I noticed he created a book called 2,100 Asanas The complete Yoga Poses. After coming across a lot of great reviews online, I decided to obtain a copy.

I absolutely love this book! This book is great for all levels. It does not go into details on how to get into all the postures but it provides a lot of great modifications to a lot of poses you may be familiar with.

In addition to providing the modifications, It also lets you know where your Drishti point should be. You can find a explanation of which type of pose it is.

For instance, take Sukha Vrikshasana also known as Easy Tree Pose Modification. The Pose type for this is a Standing one-legged balance.

For those who are developing a understanding with chakras. This book is good at letting you know which chakras you are working with for each asana.

Overall, this book has a total of 735 pages. It has a detailed glossary which is quite helpful with breaking down the yoga terms. It is also a great book to have in your personal library whenever you need to seek an inspiration.
