When was the last time you spent time with yourself?



When was the last time you spent time with yourself?

When was the last time you allowed yourself to enjoy some "me time"?

If you can't remember. The time should be now!

You do not need to take a lavish trip or go any further than your living room.

All you need is at least 20 minutes for yourself.

It will not cost you anything.

You will gain a clear mind. Alertness. A better sense of self. It is a great way to relieve stress. It will allow you to focus on you.

In the beginning, it can be quite a challenge. Especially, if you are a parent of small kids. In most cases you are use to putting others before yourself. The time you have free you may get the urge to tidy up your place or tend to other chores. But that is not taking time out for yourself.

With having so much on your plate or mind. If you do not take a little time out for yourself you will just contribute to any stress you already have.

Try unplug for the world for a few minutes but putting your phone on silent or turn it off. Go to a room with no electronics. Light your favorite scented candle and just listen to your favorite album. Or better yet soak in warm bubble bath. Just allow yourself to enjoy "YOU".

You owe yourself that much!
