Tired of hearing or seeing commercials about diamonds, flowers, and more things to buy for one day out of the year? (I know I am over it)

If you have kids, you probably have to help them prepare for their valentine party (if they are in elementary school). Or maybe you have been leaving clues around the house for things you want your significant other to get for you.
Have you ever thought about taking a different approach for yourself on valentines day?
Here are 5 little exercises you can try to flood some love into your life without spending a dime!
1. Mirror Exercise
Take a look in full length mirror and look yourself in the eyes and tell each body part what you love about it. It might feel uncomfortable at first. But as you continue you will start to notice a change. This allows you to connect with yourself on a new level.
Remember you are Amazing and you need to remind every part of yourself that truth.

2. Journal Writing Exercise
Set your timer for 10 minutes and start writing your thoughts on love. How do you define it? Are you receiving the same amount of love that your are spreading out? Use this time to reflect where you are in you relationships and allow yourself to visualize how you will take it to the next level.

3. Give 5 random compliments to someone
Did you know that if you randomly provide compliments to someone if would not only make them feel good but you as well.

4. Laugh out Loud
Laughing is the best medicine. Studies show that laughing helps lower your blood pressure, works the abs, and releases endorphins. So, find a funny show to watch, listen to a comedy bit and get some laughter in today.

5. Bubble Bath
End your night with a nice long bubble glass. Add some soothing music and a nice glass of your favorite bubbly to celebrate you. (Bonus if you get your partner to join)
